Aperçu: WESLEY opens a private investigation company with his friend KWOK TSAK CHING in Shanghai. One day, YUE TING MAN, the treasurer of the Green Gang, comes and asks WESLEY to help hunt for treasure. But WESLEY, who is only interested in strange things, turns him down. KWOK begins to grow suspicious of MAN and decides to follow him. While KEI WAI, son of the chief of the Green Gang PAK, is questioning MAN about the treasure, KWOK is caught and innocently gets involved in the matter. KWOK is brutally beaten to unconsciousness, and MAN is taken away by WAI. Police officer TIT TAN has found a paper monkey from KWOK, which is actually the clue MAN leaves for KWOK. WESLEY’s cousin WONG HUNG HUNG sees the logo of a nightclub on the paper monkey. WESLEY thus heads for that nightclub to look for more clues. MAN dies while being questioned. WESLEY starts an investigation around the place where MAN died. There he meets WAI’s sister PAK SO……
