Momiji Fujimiya, is a descendant of the mythical Princess Kushinada. When Japan is menaced by Aragami spawned by Yamato-no-Orochi, Momiji is intended to be sacrificed to appease the Aragami. She instead, however, becomes a member of the Terrestrial Administration Center, a secret agency charged with fighting them.
A sudden Aragami attack in San Francisco and at the TAC headquarters proves that the monsters are still active. Now, the TAC must travel to the United States to solve the mystery of the Aragami’s reemergence. And end the threat once and for all.
The Aragami return once again to ravage the city, and it is up to the Terrestrial Administration Centre to stop them. Fujimiya Momiji and Kusanagi Mamoru's relationship is on ice; the rest of the TAC is scrambling to get things together so they can effectively wipe out the Aragami. A mysterious girl, claiming to be a half-Aragami like Mamoru, is causing chaos for the TAC and Momiji as well. Will they be able to pull together in time?
