Wind In The Trees

A small isolated town in Brazil is becoming windless.

Margot, 60 years old., lives in a remote country house and takes care of her autistic son, Marc-André. The sudden disappearance of the dog disrupts their quiet life on the frozen lake in Northern Quebec.

Murat is a sound recordist who lives in Istanbul. He makes an unexpected connection in his records between a grandmother and a grandchild, which becomes a trip to the family's past to strengthen their ties.

Sixteen-year-old Mina is spending summer days with her father, Andrej, at the mouth of the river Bojana. Andrej is a kite surfer and adventurer, and Mina tries to be the opposite. However, she falls in love with kite surfer Sasa. Sasa is older than her and he has a girlfriend, Sonja. The few days Mina and Sasa spent together do not change their relationship. However, in Mina's adolescent world, these days are changing everything.

Of the many unrealized projects Yang developed in the wake of Yi Yi, the one that came the closest to fruition was an ambitious animated martial arts movie inspired by his lifelong love of graphic novels and his friendship with Jackie Chan. In the pilgrimage to the Abra of Punta Corral, a tradition formerly carried out by men, the band remembers the conquest of that space, from the bond, their fears, motivations, and the network they form through music.

Seikichi, makes his living fishing from a small boat off the coast of Okinawa. He and his 12-year-old grandson Akira live in a small, tree-lined village in the northern part of the island which is surrounded by a white-sand beach and plots of pine and flowering bushes. On the cliff that skirts the shore sits an open-air burial ground containing the skull of a kamikaze pilot who was shot down during the last days of World War II. When the wind blows through the bullet hole in the skull, it produces a whistling sound. The locals call it the "Crying Head."

Based on a stage play of the same name by the one of the biggest names in the history of Latvian literature Rainis, "Put, vejini" tells a story of an unconventional love that blossoms between the handsome, wealthy and impetuous merchant Uldis and the timid, humble and clear-hearted orphan Baiba.

Western Winds/Eastern Winds is an experimental documentary film work about the roads passing through a small andean border town and the ways that connect it with history, modernity and the territory, also with those passages less visible, marginals and forgotten, that evoke past migrations in the west and the east side of this imaginary border.

A 1978 French documentary film directed by Albert Lamorisse about the landscape of Iran. Lamorisse was killed in a helicopter crash while filming the documentary, during a helicopter-tour of Iran. His widow completed the film, based on his production notes, and released the film eight years later in 1978.

A foreign transfer student from the city arrives one day in a Japanese country town. Enchanted by his air of mystery, his classmates nickname him "Matasaburou the Wind Imp" after a local legend. Eventually they become friends and spend many days playing in the countryside. One windy day, Matasaburou returns to the city, leaving his classmates to speculate that he really was Matasaburou the Wind Imp and that he flew away on the wind.

A family is left adrift after the father's departure. Mother and children will have to grow and let go of their fears in order to survive.
