Warm In The Bud

The drama tells the story of Su Jiu'er, a female constable of the Qian country who is scared of cold, and Han Zheng, the warm young master of the Qi clan, who meet because of a strange murder case concerning the relationship between the two clans and form a partnership of two people with a huge warmth difference. They work together to go through the fog and find the truth under. At the same time, they also dissolve the crisis their families are facing.

The drama explores the reality and complexities of married life. Eun-jin and Jae-hak, who are married to other people, find themselves attracted to each other. Their marriages become in danger of unraveling, as their affair disrupts the lives of family and friends around them.

A workaholic with a rage problem and a laid-back guy from a wealthy family meet at a restaurant named "Warm and Cozy" on the beautiful island of Jeju.

Bong (Adam Cheng) blamed Sing (Kwan Hoi San) for abandoning his mother and refused to acknowledge him as his father even he was one of the richest men in town. He loved and admired his foster father Kin (Bow Fong), who was a retired cop. He and his brother Lap (Gallen Lo) followed Kin’s footsteps and joined the force. Zhao Nuan Nuan is a comic artist with outstanding drawing skills, who has always dreamed of becoming China's top original comic artist but has repeatedly failed. Hopeless, she is forced to go on a blind date but mistaken Gu Yi Chen, who is just passing by, as her blind date. Zhao Nuan Nuan’s only shortcoming is that she has extremely poor luck, but in a twist of fate, she accidentally discovers that as long as she gets close to Gu Yi Chen, her luck changes for the better.

Kiki Inoue could not fulfill her dream to become an idol and is currently working part-time at a convenience store. Takumi Asaba is the president of a convenience store chain and enjoys criticizing sweets on social media. One day, Takumi found a similar criticism about sweets made by Kiki and invited her to be a staff to develop an original "best seller" sweets.

During the Middle Ages, a clumsy knight returns home where his wife awaits him. Sensuous and beautiful, she has attracted several male admirers during his absence, but her chastity belt has maintained her faithfulness. Now is her chance to wrest the key from him and enjoy herself. The knight’s portly friend has a similar problem with his equally gorgeous wife. And to top it off, both men have designs on the other’s wife — leading them to devise painful methods to discourage the other from trespassing.

A down-and-out businessman travels to a seaside town, where he meets a woman with unusual sexual powers.

With the outbreak of the Korean War, Su-ji and Oh-mok lose their parents. Along with their brother Su-cheol, they go live with their mother's parents. As they go to take refuge, Su-ji loses Oh-mok by accident. Time passes and with her older brother Su-cheol's success, Su-ji enters the high society. But due to the guilt of losing her younger sister Oh-mok, she does a lot of charity work constantly looking for Oh-mok. When Su-ji finally finds Oh-mok in an orphanage, she turns coldly away from Oh-mok for not having any evidence to prove that she is her sister. Oh-mok marries Il-hwan whom she has met at the orphanage and they live a hard life. Finally, Su-ji is convinced that Oh-mok is her sister but after living through such hardship, Oh-mok breathes her last.

Two young actors are exploring the topic of representation of LGBTI people through the history of Yugoslav cinema and social circumstances that have resulted in different treatment of these characters.

Independently (and very inexpensively) produced, Warm in the Bud is an over-ambitious but essentially worthwhile character study. Adapted by producer/director Rudolph Caringi from the Franz Wedekind play Spring's Awakening, the film stars Robert Mont as Moritz and Dean Stricklin as Melchior, two sensitive youths growing up in the insensitive 19th century. Upon approaching manhood, Moritz and Melchior come to grips with the inevitable in highly unorthodox fashion. As a result, one dies prematurely, while the other retreats into himself.

Pawat, a piano teacher, was heartbroken from his love from his step-sister, the girl who he can’t love. Since his heart wasn’t strong enough, he took off to mend his heart in a little town called Chiang Khan. A homestay called “Lom Nao Dao Oun” (Cold Wind Warm Star) welcomed Lew and Pawat to the town and dramas and incidents followed thereafter. Between a girl with amnesia and a cold and aloof guy that detest people who don’t love themselves, at first these two didn’t get along but later pity and empathy turned into love.

About a boy with an OCD, who originally thought he was an insulator of friendship and love, but after meeting a unique doctor and a careless girl, staged a love story about the healing of yin and yang.
