This documentary film is the story of one of the only remaining Asiatic cheetah families in the world.

A corridor of an apartment is transformed into a claustrophobic and vertiginous vortex that swallows and imprisons you in an infinite fall through a mise en abyme: it’s a pure enclosure inside the image world, it’s the Descent into the Maelstrom.

A film noirish atmosphere is created to show detective Lunch (a popular underground musician and poet) plow her way through the plans of a corporate businessman who seeks government defense contracts through real "corporate wars" and the manipulation of politicians.

Follows a sinister, shadowy organization that is tracking a serial killer.

In 1973, Jonah the Earth Prophet is a cult commune leader who communicates the will of the Earth to his followers via voices from the vortex in which their living compound is built on. Members of the "family" hope for an afterlife of positive karma and eternal energy after serving their contracted time to the vortex, or rather to Jonah. Frustrations arise as members of the family struggle to fight their human urges, an ironic symptom of their obsession to be one with human nature itself, albeit a misconstrued version of it. Unsettling rituals, brutal tests of faith, and meetings of music and dance are forms of sacrifice to the vortex by the family - and so are the actual lives of those who wish to join the family but are not destined to belong. Utilizing inspiration from Jonestown, The Manson Family, Heaven's Gate, The Branch Davidians and others, The Vortex Voices puts you right there in the time and horror of it all.

A gay poet heads west from New York City in his convertible. He picks up a muscular sailor who's bisexual; then Jackie, a waitress at a diner, joins them. Jackie is attracted to the poet who rebuffs her romantic gestures; rejection fuels her continued interest in him. The sailor and the poet are bonded by sex, but the sailor's frank advances to Jackie make him uninteresting to her. The sailor can get violent, the poet is passive, Jackie is glamorous and detached. The landscape changes, they stop in cities and in the desert. They reach a lake. Who will be left out of a final pairing?
