In the futuristic city of Nouveau San Francisco, a hard-boiled hero "the Viper" and his rage fuelled pet partner "Kitty", will attempt to stop an egomaniacal industrialist "the Jackal" from an evil plan to create a pollution apocalypse.

A thug accosts a girl as she leaves her workplace but a man rescues her. The thug vows revenge and, with the help of two friends, attacks the girl and her rescuer again as they're going for a walk. This time they succeed in kidnapping the rescuer. The girl runs home and gets help from several neighbors. They track the ruffians down to a cabin in the mountains where the gang has trapped their victim and set the cabin on fire.

Lonely hostess Kiyo spends her days propositioning men on the cold streets of Tokyo and being beaten by her violent pimp, Tetsuya. One day her luck seems to change when she meets a charming foreigner named Anchin and a romance blossoms but soon everything falls apart when she becomes pregnant. During the French Revolution, a wealthy couple lives safely by professing republican beliefs. When a mob attacks a nearby chateau an aristocrat bursts into the couple's home. They save his life by disguising him as a servant, but he soon forces his attentions on the wife. Hearing their struggle, the husband intervenes and, stripping the aristocrat of his disguise, thrusts him outdoors to be killed by the mob.

A woman is raped by a transient and later commits suicide, cursing the then with her last breath. Years later, the victim's granddaughter returns to town to debunk the story and sell the house, but the ghosts have different ideas.

From the stark American Wild West, to steamy jungles in the heart of Africa, old and new world orders of Vipers have merged to create a super family of snakes.
