In a small village somewhere in the Apennines, taciturn Antimo divides his time between the local church, his tedious work on the farm and his chaste meetings with his girlfriend. His pivotal encounter with the wild loner Lazzaro awakens in the devout young man the desire to reach the very core of a faith far removed from the regular Sunday sermons delivered by a representative of the Church – a powerful institution for which freethinking and devotion to God represent incompatible ideas.

The video,”…like dust in the wind…”, was made from the animation of a sequence of 991 photographs captured in a single action (four hours long) with handcrafted pinhole cameras (using matchboxes). It shows, in 3.5 minutes, the transmutation of the space/movement of the fair in a 360 degree turn. It ranges from the frenetic movement, the hustle and bustle, from the beginning of the fair to the emptying of that space.
It is a realistic musical documentary, mixing the old and the new, exchanging chronological positions, creating a suggestive carousel for the audience. A tribute to Sérgio Ricardo's cinematographic work narrated through the assembly of scenes and tracks taken from the 7 films he directed. In this anthology, the most recurrent theme in the author's work is portrayed: the struggle of the oppressed worker who finds love, music and the community his escape valve.
