Misaki visits her boyfriend Koichi in Okinawa, the southern island of Japan. To welcome the arrival of Misaki, Koichi's friend Jinsei holds a welcoming party at his house. At the party, Misaki learns from the wise granny about the legend behind the bag hanging from the fig tree and the local demon: Kijimuna, which deeply fascinate Misaki. Jinsei then introduces Misaki to a young female writer, Kagemi, who tells Misaki the darker side of the Kijimuna legend. As the local shaman and medium to the other world, Kagemi’s knowledge in local lore gives Misaki much more to wonder about. The quiet life in Okinawa takes a sharp turn with the arrival of Jinsei’s ex-wife Sanae, which leads to a tragic accident. Soon, the parties involved begin to see a vengeful spirit and their peaceful lifes turn into a nightmare.

The documentary focuses on Dai Congyang, a 20-year-old girl with congenital cataracts and semi-blindness. It shows what Dai has been confronted with and how she struggles with the conflicts about her blind boyfriend and her parents who strongly disagree with her relationship. Besides, it witnesses how she gains self-recognition and self-actualization when torn between "to stay at hometown" or "to start up in a bigger city". Back and forth between Wenzhou, Hangzhou and Taizhou, Dai finds herself trapped in a relationship seemed sweet but also full of lies and vanity. In the end, it still remains unknown as to whether Dai chooses to gamble on love or to succumb to her parents and start a new life.

The documentary is based on 2 parallel lines: one is Valery Gergiev's trip to Tskhinvali after the Georgian-Ossetian conflict and the history of preparing and holding a concert in the destroyed city.The second line is the Maestro's concert activity, rehearsal and staging in London of Wagner's famous tetralogy "The Ring of the Nibelung", the final part of which is the opera Twilight of the Gods

Joziuk finally returns from the military in the first scene but with the pregnant Zosia, while Rumsza expected him to marry Celinka, the daughter of Krywka, his only friend and neighbour. The hero will not accept the new situation; he throws his son and Zosia out of his house. Celinka is distressed but she still harbours hope for Joziuk. The birth of the child changes the situation: Rumsza accepts his son's relationship but Celinka decides to leave.
