Slave to the Metal is an American television program on Fuse which premiered January 21, 2005. It was hosted by Juliya Chernetsky, known on the program as Mistress Juliya, who served as a therapist, answering fans' question on phone or voice message; however, a disclaimer during the show's opening stated that Juliya is not a professional therapist. Lying on a bed in a darkly lit room, Chernetsky frequently dressed in bondage attire and held a whip while giving advice in relation to sex, relationships, music, and other themes. Slave to the Metal ran a half hour, playing music videos in between Chernetsky's advice segments, which, in contrast to her previous shows, served as the main course of the program. Because of this, the videos, largely of the heavy metal genre, were often highly edited and shortened to make up for lack of time.

A Kin to Win was a Canadian television game show initially produced in Montreal in 1961 then aired on the CTV network in 1962. Jimmy Tapp was the programme's host.

Hard to Be Me is an independently produced comedy-drama series created by and starring Edward Robert Bach. The show follows second year art student Kevin Hamilton and his vlog in which he tells the story of his week more through his art than his words. This device would frame future episodes of the show. This framing device has led to Hard to Be Me being called "the first web 2.0 television show" and is often cited by the director of the pilot episode Erik Cieslewicz as one of the main reasons he worked on the project. It has been described as "a little Gilmore Girls a little Everybody Hates Chris and a lot of famility-oriented funny," which is also often cited by the pilot's creators as a major component of the show. Currently being pitched to networks by an agent, Hard to Be Me has won a "slew of awards at film festivals."

Condemned To Be Shot was an early BBC television drama, broadcast by the BBC Television Service in the United Kingdom on the evening of Saturday March 4, 1939. It is particularly notable for two reasons – firstly, it was one of the very first plays to be written especially for television, rather than adapted from the theatre or from radio drama. Secondly, it was the first television production where the camera was made into one of the 'characters' of the piece – the play revolves around the first-person perspective of the character whose viewpoint the camera represents, and who is not otherwise seen, his voice heard only in voiceover. The play ends with the main character faced with a firing squad. The cast consisted of Reginald Brooke, Zoe Davies, Olga Edwardes, Wilfred Fletcher, Neil Porter, Hilary Pritchard, Henry Belling and Ben Soutten. Twenty minutes in length, the play was written by R.E.J. Brooke. It was produced by Jan Bussell and broadcast live from the BBC's studios at Alexandra Palace. As there was no professional method of recording television programmes at the time, no record survives of the production aside from still photographs.

An Ode To Life is a 40-episode blockbuster Chinese drama aired in Singapore. It was telecast in August 2004. The show is set in the 1970s and goes through history all the way to the modern days of 2000s. The drama achieved the highest viewership rate in Year 2004 despite being broadcast at the 7pm slot, defeating other popular dramas in the same year such as Spice Siblings, Double Happiness and A Child's Hope 2. The production team includes award-winning writer and producer Ang Eng Tee who wrote for Holland V and Rebecca Leow of I Not Stupid Too fame. The challenging role of Ah Zhi is seen as a "tailor-made" role for Huang Bi Ren. This drama was aired on China's largest broadcast network CCTV-8 in September 2009 and garnered a largely favorable reception from the Mainland audience.

Lovely to Look At was an early Australian television series. Broadcast on Melbourne station GTV-9, it was a fashion show. The series ran from March 1957 to November 1957. Episodes were 15-minutes in duration, broadcast live, originally aired at 10:15PM on Sundays though towards the end of the run the episodes were broadcast at 10:30PM. It typically was preceded on the schedule by a newscast followed by Epilogue and station sign-off. It is notable as representing an early effort by GTV-9 at locally-produced content. It was compered by Maxwell Gibb. According to an article in the 12 September 1957 edition of The Age, the series was directed by Rod Kinnear, who had previously been a press photographer. The 1 November 1957 edition of The Age provides additional information on the series, listing Ian Holmes as technical director, and George Havrillay as set designer, and noting that each episode went through three rehearsals before broadcast. It also listed Arlene Andrewartha, Elaine Grayden, Rae Crawley as among the models used by the series. It is not known if any of the episodes were kinescoped, and it is possible that the series is lost.

Greg dons a pain-inducing 'osteoarthritis suit' and reveals the horrors of performing everyday tasks in it, while Jack enters the cage, going head-on with a man who is intent on inflicting acute pain. So, when the doctors say it is going to hurt them more than it hurts you, this time they really mean it. And along the way Jack and Greg reveal useful facts and helpful approaches to treatment.

C. Dane is a dancer whose dream was to teach at her own dance studio. Now that she has one, the problem is finding students to attend! She decides to rent out half of the studio to help make ends meet in the meantime. A judo instructor, Yu, decides to rent the space. When Dane expresses her frustration to Yu about not having students he decides to enroll himself.

The two contestants go against each other in rounds to complete different objectives all related to seducing women. Hidden cameras record all the action, and four “expert” pick up artists judge to decide which of the two contestants did better picking up women during a round.
