This documentary follows three activists to examine how HIV/AIDS plays out in the everyday lives of New Yorkers today and how community groups work to remake home as a space of caretaking, housing, and family. The film was originally featured in the Museum of the City of New York's 2017 exhibition, AIDS at Home: Art and Everyday Activism, which explored how artists and activists navigated the political stakes of domestic life in the face of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, from the early 1980s to the present.

Elite Syncopations completes the programme with a sparkling evocation of a dance hall that brings ragtime rhythms to the dance, and a ragtime band to the stage.

TO BE INTERRED OR NOT?An elegy? A reaction? Perhaps a tribute to the passing of one of the last masters of World Cinema Jean Luc Godard from a young emerging filmmaker who hails from the Southern part of the geographical center of the Far East where Christianity has taken its deepest root. Taking inspiration from the spectacular cinematic roadshows from Hollywood's Golden Age, this experimental documentary is both an observation and an elegy— juxtaposing scenes of Davao City recovering from the pandemic with the musical landscapes ranging from the 1900s onwards that Monsieur Godard might have heard in his formative years into being a force to be reckoned with during his international cinematic superstardom.

Using their imaginations, they go to places like a fun park, the Moon in outer space, and even a fun-filled animal farm. But when Barney leaves, the kids learn from Mom that "friends are forever, whenever they're make-believe".
