On September 15th, 1830, during the opening ceremony of the first major railway line in Britain, the member of parliament for Liverpool, William Huskisson, attempted to cross the tracks but was struck by the train and died of the injuries he sustained. "This is the end of me" sets out on a true documentary mission - to delve into this historical event - but gets continually sidetracked .... It's about history, technology, memory, chaos theory, Canada, eyesight, books, trains, speed, death, and Saskatchewan. The film is visually as eclectic as its narration, including documentation (photos, paintings, diagrams, maps); footage of trains, tracks, classrooms and libraries; and stop-motion animation.

Named for a mythic feminist performance artist, Barbara Cleveland are an Australian artist collective directed by Diana Baker Smith, Frances Barrett, Kate Blackmore and Kelly Doley. Their intimately-made film This is a stained glass window (2019) draws on conceptual art and performance documentation to self-reflexively survey their then-15-year collaborative relationship, inspired by a description of the friendship between Hannah Arendt and Mary McCarthy as a “thinking business for and with each other”. Within the work, they explore topics such as labour and support, from a unique and multilayered perspective.

A depressed wife and mother whose reality is starting to fracture into fantasy, drives her children to the beach. On the return journey she stops at a service station to fill up with petrol. Four mechanics eye her off and, as one of them walks towards her car, a full-blown erotic fantasy develops.

Marlina, a paralyzed girl found in a garbage truck by Jaya, a street vendor. Then Jaya decide.d to rescued her and take care her in his simple house. One day, someone said that the girl was from a rich family and for someone who found her and gave it back to her family gonna get a big reward. Will Jaya give Marlina back to her family after developing a great love when taking care of her?

In the end, one is dead and the others are alone, although the truth is that they were already alone long before his death. Now all of this is gone and there is no point in looking back.
