The home is both an internal idea or state of mind, as it is a physical space with hard boundaries. obviously this is a girl’s apartment touches on questions regarding contemporary transformations of the home, and the gap between this perceived space and its physical realities. The private spaces contained within the walls of the home set the stage for the owner as human, a politicized entity with defined boundaries. The video shows a newly developed landscape in which ownership has become uncertain, consequently questioning the stability of identity (of gender or nationality) formed within the precarious boundaries of the home.
Tiernan thinks the internet is just too loud. As always, there's some politics in the mix too, and musings on ethereal Icelandic music thrown in for good measure.
In 1954, Shirley Clarke created 'In Paris Parks', a short film starring her ten-year-old daughter Wendy Clarke. In 2013, the Wisconsin Center for Film & Theater Research loaned the outtakes of this film to Milestone. Much to everybody's surprise, one of the reels revealed that Clarke had shot another film during that trip to France that she never told anybody about and never finished. This is the unfinished film. No soundtrack existed for this film so one has been commissioned by Milestone.

This Is What We Do is the first DVD of British Credo, currently one of the finest neo-prog bands. This DVD-box of a live concert in Poland also includes two CD’s with the same track list. The band consisting of singer Mark Colton, guitarist Tim Birrell, keyboardist Mike Varty (Shadowland, Janison Edge), bass player Jim Murdock and drummer Martin Meads, gave an excellent performance in Teatre Slaski, Katowice in October 2008. I enjoyed every minute of this fine performance, especially after visiting their excellent show in De Pul, Uden (The Netherlands). Tim Birrell’s guitar solos are very pointed and melodic, but also the rest of the band is at its best.
