The One & Only Live Show Of D.L.I.M.C.
Ingenious parody of clickbait videos that, in turn, ends up channeling the best of Andy Warhol.
Felix Leffrank deals with the ups and downs of an artist’s life in colourful, computer-animated images. During his ordeal between depression, writer’s block, anger and urban loneliness, a story-teller is accompanied by three weird birds who sometimes appear as annoying neighbours, sometimes as inner demons. Jung, Freud and the psychologist Dr. Breuer in the shape of a grey cat promote self-reflection, but the most helpful thing is probably a beer with friends.
SICKLE AND HAMMER! CANNONS! CANNONS! DYNAMITE!

AWGTHTGTWTA (Are We Going to Have to Go Through with This Again?) is one of a recent series of single-channel video works in which Oursler explores the idea of the "chorus." Here Oursler asked high school and middle school students in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood, many of whom are recent immigrants, to describe their ideal or fantasy places. The resulting piece brings together scenes of the students reciting text in unison, excerpts of their imaginative responses to Oursler's question, and found footage of the compulsive online gaming, shorthand sms text messaging, and YouTube improvisational recordings that characterize their environment. Through this combination of spoken text and frenetic gaming images, Oursler highlights disparate notions of fantasy, and gives new voice to the layered story-telling that threads through his work.
Mediogres presents a partially animated, independent, music based film.
The villagers like to visit Dr Thi because they trust him. Most of his patients are over seventy years old. Though time has past, war sequels remain vivid. “Talking helps to relieve the pain” says Doctor Thi. The camera never leaves the precincts of the clinic where patients are filmed like the characters of an ancient theater play.
Rendition of Trisha's Chicken Nugget monologue, a re-performance I'll call this.

‘This is China of a particular sort, I do not know’ is a postcolonial response to chinoiserie, a European decorative style imitating Chinese motifs popular in the eighteenth century. It is set and entirely filmed at the Royal Pavilion Brighton, a British pleasure palace built by George IV based on the idea of illusion, and hence its interior being entirely chinoiserie. Across five dialogues and one monologue, the artist herself and relevant historical individuals – that are George IV the British King, Chien-lung the Chinese Emperor who received the Macartney Embassy, George Macartney who led the first British embassy to China, William Alexander the draughtsman from the embassy, and Ann a Ching Dynasty royal family member and also the artist’s childhood neighbour in Taiwan – question, miss, argue and disagree with each other over the representation of Chineseness in chinoiserie at the Pavilion.
When they decide to live together, college friends Alexandre and Gustavo end up putting themselves in the messy task of carrying a sofa, on foot, between one house and another. Along the way, small differences from the old friendship, added to the unstable masculinities of the boys, reveal great chasms in the new perspective of sharing a home.
