Fernando, Jaime and Juan Carlos live in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona). During the 80s and 90s they visit and record with a Hi8 the daily life of their parents’ town of origin: Cardenete (Cuenca). During those years the world changes rapidly: Spain enters the EU, the Soviet bloc falls and the Olympics are held in Barcelona. But what does Cardenete have to do with all of this?

Music & Musicals, Hard Rock & Heavy Metal, Rock & Pop - When Bleeding Through takes the stage at the Glass House in Pomona, there's no turning back as they prove why they're one of the most exciting musical acts to hit the rock scene in ages. Richard Forbes-Hamilton's "(third study for) Swedge of Heaven" explores themes of liminality, transition and reanimation around locations of ritual gatherings in Essex. Starting in an edgelands underpass, we come across a Neolithic fertility figure and a rave mascot beating a drum with glowsticks. Employing 3D models of real-world sites alongside computer-generated actors, the film hovers between neon and natural worlds.

In the form of a comic full of adventures, the pirates kidnap Tafash's aunt after their attack on his house and take her away to their ship, and from here Tafash, with the help of Jusum, tries to pursue the pirates and rid her from their hands.

The film takes shape through the form of a video exchange between Hirokazu Kore-eda and Naomi Kawase. Each films the world around them and intimately reflects on their individual struggles with making films. Kore-eda self-consciously reflects on his process, “What does a camera shoot? What does a film capture? The emptiness in my life reflects in my work.” Kawase concentrates on her everyday life and candid moments with her friends, who say, “Hang in there Naomi we are all on your side,” and, “You never keep the promises you make, but I love you anyway.”

Constructing from and subverting a wide galaxy of source materials, these films are archeological digs into the very stuff, the conceptions, we are born into. Child decomposes the materials and gestures that would compose us. The films are charged with a startling and playful musicality and poetic and rigorous compression. Each image and sound cuts deep and works over time containing hidden and unhidden detonations working against the manufactured ambush that images have in store. Agile dances through treacherous debris, they negotiate an obstacle course of polar anatomies zig-zagging with corkscrew twists and nuclear splits -- a gambol against the hazards.

Each in their own way with distinct personalities they all felt the pressure and motivation, as tricks from their friends/teammates were being captured on a daily basis.

When three year old Willy wanders away from home he falls among thieves. They are forced to kidnap him. The police ask Dickie, his elder brother and his friend, Johnny to help in the search. Three more are caught by the gang who lock them in with the now unconscious gang leader and escape with the jewels. The police, alerted by the children, capture the gang, recover the jewels and finally rescue the children, including Willy
