On the other side of Jacob’s divine encounter was a new name, a new blessing, a new identity and a new way of walking (literally). Like Jacob, will we enter into the wrestle with God, dare to know Him more intimately and be changed in the process? This is the premise for Hillsong Worship’s 26th live praise and worship album.

Is That All There Is? is the inability to face reality as it is, and the tendency to sugarcoat it to make it more like whatever it is we’re looking for. It’s the isolation to which we voluntarily submit ourselves whenever we start a romantic relationship of any kind. It's the crumbling of all our expectations and the disappointment we feel every time they shatter before our eyes. Is That All There Is? is when you hit rock bottom... and suddenly come back to life.
IS THAT ALL THERE IS? considers the environmental impact of global warming. YHCHI often use dark humour to highlight difficult issues. The text and melody of the work are based on the song Is That All There Is?, made popular by singer Peggy Lee in 1969. The fire in the song’s lyrics here becomes a reference to wildfires in California. The question ‘Is That All There Is?’ is repeated again and again, highlighting the lack of personal and political accountability in relation to climate change. Currently showing at the Tate Modern in London.
