Director Ali Khamraev, musicians Leonid and Peter Lundstrem, writer Andrey Gelasimov and students of the Gorky Literary Institute will be transported back in their conversations years ago and remember those who gave their lives for our freedom. They will talk about the unbearable truth of the war; about what is the truth captured in literature, music and cinema; and also discuss what will happen to us if this happens again.

On May Day both Ferdl and his father Franz are back in Vienna on a short leave. They are sitting in an open-air café with another soldier, when suddenly Poldi and Franzi turn up at the same time. When the two women find out that Ferdl has a romance with both of them, they start to weep and quarrel. Ferdl tries to escape, but land in a fight between Franzi and Resl.

It seems that Canada don't want to hear about their heroes of the two World Wars, especially in Quebec. In English, La Guerre oubliée means The Forgotten War. Here, we talk about the 1914-18 big thing. This documentary doesn't use old footage, but actors to show us some parts of that war in Quebec. Joe Bocan sings some songs of that period and makes the narrations. There's also some rare veterans of the war who talk.

Helena was five years old when the Kosovo War began in February of 1998. She and her family were forced to flee their homes as Serbian soldiers swept the countryside, massacring ethnic Albanians and destroying their land. «Days of War» is a meditation on these experiences of war and displacement.
