Performed in the style of an old time radio drama, Trilogy of Terror features original plays based on three classic horror tales. "The Fall of the House of Usher" by Edgar Allan Poe, "The Cats of Ulthar" by H.P. Lovecraft and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washington Irving. Performed in front of a live, studio audience with actors playing multiple roles and live sound effects.

To Lavoisier Who Died in the Reign of Terror (1991) is a collaboration with filmmaker Carl Brown, who specializes in homebrewed chemical film development. In a series of tableaux, people perform everyday tasks — sleeping, dining, reading, card-playing — as the camera arcs past and over them (the replete set of positions recalls La région centrale’s movements). Brown abraded the film stock, creating a continuous dynamic surface-effect tension with the comparatively static views and cueing the soundtrack, the crackle of fire. The physics and chemistry of combustion were the scientific focus of Lavoisier, the 18th-century savant.

The lovers believe him to be dead and carry him from the house out into the street. Drunkards find him there and they think they have have killed him. They stand him against a wall with his face in the window of a miser who has just been counting his money. The miser punches the man in the head and takes the "corpse" to river and throws it in.

This program is an overview of the life and career of Joseph Stalin. It concentrates on describing and attempting to explain the origins of the policy of “terror” instigated by Stalin as leader of the USSR. There are interviews with surviving family members and experts all of whom attempt some sort of personality “analysis” of the dictator to explain his behaviour and policies. Another question that is examined is, given his record of “terror”, why was he so popular? Why did so many Russians mourn his death in 1953? This could be an overview and introduction to a study of both Stalin and USSR in the post revolution period.

Then she meets a 5-year-old boy named Tsuyoshi. In the dimly-lit room, Tsuyoshi is drawing pictures. What he is drawing is a creepy guy called "Gi" who has the skill to "delete anyone that is unwanted." Then, as Tsuyoshi predicts, people die one after another.

During an earthquake, a frantic man falls down a stairwell and "dies" yet his soul remains trapped in his body.
