The Brit Floyd show has become a phenomenon, widely regarded as the world's greatest rock tribute show. Faithfully recreating the scale and pomp of the final 1994 Pink Floyd tour, complete with a stunning multi million dollar light show, iconic circle screen, lasers, inflatables and theatrics.
This film traces the path Floyd took after the recording of the Animals album - an era when cracks in the band first started to show - and brings the strange story of the group and the intense relationship between Waters and Gilmour right up to date with the unexpected collaboration of these two maverick musicians at a 2010 charity event. Featuring numerous interviews.
Knebworth, 1990 The band's headline set at the Silver Clef Award Winners Concert held at Knebworth House on 30 June 1990. A merging of two previous Pink Floyd documentaries, this set examines the band from its formation through its Syd Barrett years. It includes the immediate post-Barrett albums, followed by an exploration of their legendary "Meddle" album. Through in-depth interviews with the band, studio clips and archival footage, this film sheds light on the early era of the rock institution that could well be considered a genre of its own.
Following the sold out dates earlier this year, and taking its title from the lyrics of the Floyd classic "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", the band are not yet revealing the format of the 2012 "Exposed In The Light" tour but the scale and ambition of this band is well documented! As News of The World summarised; "The Australian Pink Floyd Show is as good as it gets for fans of Syd Barrett and Roger Waters, Gilmour, Wright and Mason".
