This thirty-five section, no-narration, no-music visual story is a true minimalist dialogue with fishermen. Unadorned and unadulterated, Ocean displays a collection of recorded marine images in a plain and simple way. Gazing at the images, one sees a true representation of marine life and the myriad ways humans capture nutrients from the ocean, as well as the ocean’s power to strike back.

This is a feature length documentary on the most significant contemporary music band from India - Indian Ocean.

A big-time businessman throws in the towel on his company and high-tails it out to Bali just as its stock is about to be publicly offered. There, he tries to avoid the insistent phone calls coming from Manhattan and records his philosophical ponderings about this mid-life crisis on videotape. Leina will be multiplying her encounters with whales, dolphins and other underwater mammals. Mother Ocean is the incredible encounter between humans and under water species, around the universal question of giving birth and the power of creating life.
