According to the director’s request, film sound engineer Mr. Jung and his staff set off on a journey to find sound of light flowing out of darkness. Their effort to find the sound within the flow of time gets more persistent and their passion for the movie becomes another movie in itself.

‘After two relationships that fail to lead to marriage, Luk Mo-jing (Lee Yi-nin) moves to a nearby town to escape being married off to a rich factory owner. In her new life, she finally meets a man she loves, only to discover that he, too, is an incompetent coward. With her adopted daughter Sau-wah (Leong Tim-tim) in tow, Moying establishes a vocational school for children from poor families. Showing the harsh obstacles that face a woman in 1930’s Chinese society, the film depicts a new generation of women who believe in free will and independence.

One day, in the middle of the night, a young man wakes up, awakened by a mysterious sound. He goes through the rooms of his apartment one by one, trying to find the source that disturbed his peace. But he will have to go through strange, confusing, mystical versions of his home, because the hero woke up not in reality, but in a dream. Although... well, it doesn't matter.

When he was dying, that memory stuck in his brain like a broken record of a hit song from the distant past that he had heard a million times, but could not understand the lyrics. Perhaps that was fate speaking to him in an unknown language.

"Blinded by the Light" is a two-channel video installation commissioned by Thai Film Archive in celebration of 124th anniversary of the birth of Thai cinema. The film aims to interrogate double- sided effects of how cinema itself has changed and developed through time, and how it affected both workers in film productions and its audiences along its journey.

This documentary weaves three stories – all set in the blind community of Havana, Cuba – into a tale of personal independence. As Lis, Mily, and Margarita each face family problems and heartbreak, their dependence on others turns out to be a double-edged sword. From the music halls of Havana to a cinema club for the blind, their stories reveal both the pain and the joys of fighting for yourself.

The film is counterbalanced between two interrelated parts. The first part takes place in Los Angeles, and is centered around a Korean female student, Gah-in, who is studying in the US. She is having a sexual affair with a married man named, Jun. The second part is about Jun's wife, Do-hee, which takes place in Seoul, Korea.

It is the story of a moneyless middle-aged magician whose life takes an unexpected turn when a little girl who seems to have supernatural abilities, truly "magical" powers, begins to appear frequently in his garden, causing him to rethink his profession, his vision of magic and, ultimately, his life.
