This is the strange story of people who come to this light store.

Stuck in a cycle of grief, a young woman continually relives her memories of a ruptured life. Detaching from her past is the only way to break the cycle and be reborn.

Iceland lives in darkness for much of the year. The good thing about night is that it's like a backdrop which erases the set and leaves you looking at the bare essentials, like looking at sheet of paper you have to draw on.

After Les Femmes-abeilles (2018) and Munich (2019), the short film 14 feux brings the Hourvari trilogy to a close. Inspired by news items or social facts, each short film seeks to lift the veil on various forms of interactions between animals and humans, while attempting to approach the wild forms of the present. Whether it is a matter of cohabitation or of confrontation, the promiscuity of species is written through a charcoal design and a sound atmosphere devoid of words. These films thus extend the gesture initiated in caves by humans tens of thousands of years ago.

Mouvement de lumière (Motion of light), which is comprised of noise music and lines hand-painted directly onto the film, attempts to break free of a visual and sound-based order through abstraction, thereby initiating a process centred on inner sensation. The Native People who were have been living in harmony and peace in various places of Nepal since the ancient period. These native peoples are being enticed and displaced away from their native land by some groups with strategic planning. The story has tried to depict partial examples of such places. And we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by it.

Hironaga Ryota was a child when he was separated from his father due to his parents' divorce. He takes over the glasswork factory his father almost brought to bankrupty and manages to somehow get by. In the meantime, Ryota himself is also divorced with children he does not see. One day his older brother Shoichi says he saw their father out in the city. Thus begins the two brothers' effort to find their father.

Mitrofan is an adult with Down syndrome, who lives alone in the parents’ apartment. Everybody in the house likes him, from the old men playing chess to the children. For them, he is a superhero, managing the light of the entire city. Mitrofan works in a dispatch office, where every day he switches on and off the street lights. His daily schedule is extraordinarily exact: he goes to the bus stop, the tram approaches, he returns and is met by the mongrel Pepsi. But one day the usual routine is disrupted. Can Mitrofan find the meaning of life again?

Some fascinating paintings, photoes and animated pictures tell about the pleasure which a miner may feel when coming up to the light after the dangers in a mine.
