A story about a little piglet who prefers sweet, lazy sleep over engaging in any housework. He gets offended when his friends ask for help. Chatty magpie tells the little piglet of rich and generous relatives in the forest. Piglet believes the magpie and goes into the forest for the promised better life. But the dream turns into illusion and Piglet’s trip turns into a dangerous affair.

The story centers on Chika Suzugamori, a college student who has been shopping some manga pitches around to publishers ever since she won a rookie manga award, but keeps getting rejected. Just as she was about to lose hope in ever breaking into the manga industry, she decides on a whim to go traveling without any particular goal.

As in his previous film, Fragments - Jerusalem, Ron Havilio also uses personal material to draw a portrait of an Israeli family on the road, the generation gap, and a meditation on the passage of time.

The essayistic documentary MAJUB’S JOURNEY tells the story of an African man who lived in Nazi Germany during the 1930s and worked as an extra in the movie industry. He was born in the German colony Deutsch-Ostafrika and became a soldier for the Germans during World War I – when he was only nine years old. After the Germans lost the war, they failed to hand him his military pay. About a decade later he decides to travel to Germany and personally collect his outstanding money. This film tells his story – his childhood in the colony and his life and in Nazi Germany – including the holes that the archive leaves open.
