The Heat Of The

Otowa is a former Seto Inland Sea island farmer who has moved to the mainland in order to find work, but instead ends up dead. The film begins with the discovery of her corpse, which leads to an investigation that uncovers the narcotics, prostitution, and murder in which many poor farmers had found themselves trapped after World War II.

The story is set in Guagua, Pampanga a decade after the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo which ravaged the province with lahar. It follows the lives of Rodolfo "Mang Rudy" Manansala, a woodcarver, and his three daughters and their relationships with the people close to them in the span of seven summers.

One hot afternoon in the south of France, several paths are converging towards a tragic conclusion. Those involved are: Stéphane and Luigi, two cousins who have just emerged from adolescence; Georges, a retired old man; Amélie, Luigi’s girlfriend; and Amélie’s mother Anne. Little do they know how their lives, scarred by fear, humiliation and weariness, will become intertwined and propel them to a terrible outcome...

Ali is a modest young man from a middle—income family, making a marriage proposal to his beloved Asyl, the daughter of a wealthy official. Asyl agrees, as he loves Ali very much. Asyl's parents do not refuse their daughter and arrange an incredible kyz uzat toy (this is what the bride's send-off is called in Kazakhstan).Ali's parents are shocked by the scale of the event and decide to organize a wedding that will surpass the send-off. However, their desires exceed their financial capabilities, and they have to resort to tricks, including even deception, just not to lose face in front of Asyl's parents.

A gripping drama about a seductive woman with three men in her life: a rich husband ; a sexy playboy, and a sensitive intellectual. That two of her lovers are brothers further complicates the story.

Do Do Hae is a confident and outgoing young woman who is the daughter of the chairman of the Sindongyang Corporation. She works to help abused women. Ahn Min Bok is a veteran cop who lives for his daughter Yeong Hee. But Yeong Hee falls in love with Jung Eui Han who spends nights at the police station after curfew. Eui Han begins to work as a security guard at the Sindongyang building. He gets into an argument with Do Hae. She tries to get back at Eui Han but fails again and soon finds herself attracted to him. When she finds out that Eui Han and Yeong Hee are engaged, she bids them a happy marriage while hiding her tears
