As Ali reclaimed the crown for a second time, Klein was ever present, capturing the full story at close quarter.

In the midst of the depression, two ronin rack their brains to come up with a dishonest scheme. Pyrus tries to conjure him with the help of a magical book to talk to him, but unfortunately Santa Claus is already in the National Archives when he does, which results in Clause losing his memories. Now the elf's must help Clause regain his memories by visiting historical events using the books in the archive. They meeting Saint Nicholas (the predecessor of Santa Claus), La Befana (who comes bearing gifts in Italy) and the American Santa Claus.

As the story begins, we learn that the Israelites-under the leadership of Moses-have been wandering the wilderness for forty years. Now, they are about to enter the Promised Land. But Moses will not be going with them. His time has come to join God in Heaven. And so, a young man named Joshua is appointed to take Moses' place. Like Moses, Joshua realizes that nothing can be accomplished without God's help. The Lord rewards Joshua for his faith by revealing a plan that will allow the Israelites to take the city of Jericho. As the action unfolds, we witness a series of divine miracles reminiscent of those which allowed the Israelites to escape from Egypt many years earlier. And eventually, we rejoice with them, as they enter the Promised Land.

The three protagonists listen to a storyteller recount the creation as well as the Fall. At the same time, they learn their own lessons in honesty after tricking a gardener into giving them fruit for free.
