The Day A Tree Fell

A young girl psychologist is laid off at work. Now a neural network will work instead of her and her colleagues. Frustrated, the girl catches a taxi and drives home. She has no idea that she is being driven by a very unusual driver.

The story follows Li Xiaoyu whose peaceful life is shattered when he tries to cover for his friend Qiu Yongbang when the latter tries to steal from a casino. Things go bad as the casino owner is killed and Li Xiaoyu becomes the main suspect.

Dealing with the death of one friend while helping another to cope with a very personal loss, Tsuyoshi is forced to mature into someone who can no longer ignore the suffering around him.
