Feeling guilty towards Lan, Qi Lu struggles to muster the courage to confess his secret to the seemingly irritable Qin Xiao. Instead, he approaches Qin Xiao with the hope of becoming friends. As they break the ice and grow closer, Qi Lu becomes increasingly moved by Qin Xiao's resilience and starts to have different expectations for their relationship...
