A woman murders her lover. Her husband and his mistress are also having murder-shaped thoughts, and their three counterplots all get tangled together. Everybody loses.

A documentary that tells the stories of women, each of whom changes their lives based on the cycle of violence. But these changes are a long and difficult process of self-working. From calling the police, living in a shelter to returning to themselves, women dare to go this way for themselves and their children.

The Perfect Circle depicts a man and a woman, Ivano and Meris, who spend their final days at a hospice in the hills of Reggio Emilia, Northern Italy. Their illnesses are in the terminal stage and they know that death is only a matter of time. But the ever-nearing end may fleetingly be forgotten, like when they close their eyes and get lost in the music – until the bodies being carried out next door once again remind them of the inevitable. Death also becomes a part of life for the patients’ loved ones, who want to spend the last available moments with the soon to be departed.

Hypnotist and magician David Cheishvili, trying to rescue his son from a petty criminal history, makes some concession to the investigator and helps to get the coveted signature in the testimony of a certain defendant. The hypnotist's abilities are put into use. The trick succeeds and the victim signs under the testimony, but the rules of the game are violated by the investigator himself.

Fifteen locations are the stage where fifteen performers, among artists, poets, students etc., one per location, perform a fragment of “Wild Cathedral”, a poem by the mythical Ecuadorian poet César Dávila Andrade. A sum of portraits where the poem becomes a bridge to access the character and his respective surroundings. Like most local young women, Xiaohua met Chunling, a young man from another village, through a matchmaker and chose a good day to get married. After marriage, they live with Chunling's parents. The young couple fall in love with each other and give birth to a baby boy. According to the requirements of the national family planning policy, first-born males in rural areas cannot have further children. But farmers have their own ideas. A family should not have only boys, but also girls. If there are no boys, they will do everything possible to have boys to continue the family line. Therefore, the township government sends a family planning team. At the risk of being fined, Xiao Hua becomes pregnant again. When she’s in labor, Chunling finds a midwife. They successfully give birth to a baby girl. To avoid being arrested, Chunling takes initiative to pay a 3,000 fine. The couple leave their children with family and go to work in Beijing.
