At first glance, it seems that Square lives in a chaotic and endlessly changing geometry. But the systems in which he functions are constantly repeated, introduce a daily routine, hypnotize without allowing any movement. Once, a new element sneaks into the pattern, which for a moment will allow Square to view reality from a different angle.

But the ever-nearing end may fleetingly be forgotten, like when they close their eyes and get lost in the music – until the bodies being carried out next door once again remind them of the inevitable. Death also becomes a part of life for the patients’ loved ones, who want to spend the last available moments with the soon to be departed.

The film chronicles the journey of a middle-aged man who is bored with his humdrum life, goes out to start his own business, and makes his way in the world. But he returns to the original life in the end.
