The Children Of Times Square

Adapted from the novel by author Wu Hsiao-Le, the series consists of five independent stories about parenting, as well as children's pressures of growing up, when faced with the tragic consequences of social pressure, parental oppression and family dysfunction. Each story is told in two parts in this ten-part series.

When Bold recruites Dambii's eldest son his middle son Byambaa gets angry that he wasn't chosen to ride. When Byambaa gets angry that he wasn't chosen he storms off.

This is often preceded by a controversial “bride-napping,” where the girl is abducted by her future husband on New Year’s Eve. Negotiations between the families follow.
