During the summer, Irene mourns the loss of the man she loved. Around her, Claire, a young actress, and Victoria, a young doctor, wonder about their vocation. In the fall, Claire meets Juliette. Without knowing it, the two women fall for the same man. In winter, Irene visits Victoria who is replacing a doctor in the mountains.
