"Of the new foreign work I saw, (at the Avantgarde Film Festival in London) that of Taka Iimura interested me most – His film + & -, using scratched signs, displayed how perception can be molded by the concept. By postulating negative duration – a length of black, say six seconds, minus a length of white, say three seconds, equals a length of black three seconds – the gradually emerging experience of 'backward running duration, through a long series of these visual sums, was very surprising." Often described as the oldest of the sciences, astronomy is today one of the most modern and dynamic. In four corners of the planet, giant telescopes are affected as our eyes pop out of the ground and affect our understanding of the Universe. In the most important observatories in the world, in Chile, Hawaii and the Canary Islands, a new generation of astronomers, engineers and technicians are writing the next chapter of our knowledge of the Universe. This documentary takes us to meet these "star people" to discover what makes their hearts beat, but also to understand how astronomy decrypts our past and shapes our future.

In 2023, it's still not easy, obvious or normal to be homosexual. Four characters dare to speak out publicly for the first time to recount the solidarity and support they found in this very special environment that has welcomed them: the Celtic circles. It's the story of a paradox, further proof that nothing is ever black and white. In Brittany's Celtic circles, with their outdated, conservative image of a fantasized society, homosexual men have for decades found a place of acceptance and tolerance. This is Gildas Sergent's milieu. Choreographer, sailor-cook who shares his cultural, social and jovial universe, and goes to meet these men who have dared to assert their singularity. They did so thanks to the tolerance they found in these folk groups. For many, sexual identity is no longer a taboo, or a source of shame. They can be role models, thinkers who make us reconsider our certainties and convictions. But there's still a long way to go before we're entitled to indifference.
The story of Sebas Saiz is that of an adventurous character who has broken stereotypes since his beginnings in basketball. The Madrid power forward, trained in the lower categories of Real Madrid and Estudiantes, soon decided that he wanted something different for himself than what was expected of his sports career. At the age of 17 he left for the United States, where he triumphed in the NCAA and became friends with actor Morgan Freeman. But his most groundbreaking decision came after he returned to Spain and spent two seasons in the ACB. He decided to go play in Japan when he was only 25 years old, moved by the impressive economic offer that came to him from Japan and with the well-being of his family as his number one priority. There, not only has he shown that he can grow as an elite athlete in an emerging league, but Sebas has become captain of the Spanish National Team and has been proclaimed champion of the last Eurobasket.
