Jazz pianist great Mal Waldron plays New York's legendary Village Vanguard nightclub with master trumpeter Woody Shaw, Monk-inspired tenor saxophonist Charlie Rouse, avant-garde bassist Reggie Workman and free jazz drummer Ed Blackwell. The quintet showcases its improvisational genius with renditions of "The Git-Go," "All Alone," "Fire Waltz" and "Left Alone," turning this live concert into a free-flowing jam session sure to please jazz fans.

The Irish crooner presents his laid back take on a number of classic songs and pays tribute to the artists and songwriters who made them famous. The musicians praised by Doonican, who worked with some of them on his long-running BBC programme 'The Val Doonican Show', include Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby and Peggy Lee. The songs performed include 'Mississippi Mud', 'My Kind of Girl' and 'It's Been a Long, Long Time'.

Visual Velocity is a tribute to the pioneering work of Stan VanDerBeek. VanDerBeek was an experimental filmmaker, artist, animator, and media visionary. Produced by David Donnelly, the work originally aired on PBS stations' THE TERRITORY, the longest running public television showcase of independent film/video in the country.
