One day, 'I' request an interview with 'Him' whom I had loved in vain for a long time in the old days. Although I record his words and see his face through my camera, I don't really listen or look at him. As he tells his story, I'm remembering the past. After the interview, I take out my worn and rusty passion and blow it away with ease.

This documentary explores the SAVEART movement, which began in 2003 with the goal of using art made of recycled materials to address the climate crisis.

With Reconversão (Reconversion), Thom Andersen opens another fascinating chapter of his ongoing investigation of architectural landscapes, their filmic representation, and their relation to history, by focusing on 17 buildings and projects by the often-controversial Portuguese architect Eduardo Souto de Moura—winner of the 2011 Pritzker Prize. Echoing Dziga Vertov’s concepts and Eadweard Muybridge’s techniques (shooting only one or two frames per second), Andersen masterfully brings forward what makes Souto de Moura an original: the incorporation of the passing of time into architectural designs, positing them within a history fraught with class struggle and societal changes, in a continuum with ruins—from which they may originate, and to which they will return—and with nature—which they frame, and by which they are framed.

House Hunting: While a real estate agent guides two newlyweds around an old house, the wife films a mysterious hand reaching inside the camera. The Ruins: A filming crew visits the site of a suicide victim discovered inside abandoned ruins, where many have died a violent death.

This experimental animated short takes a critical look at consumerism in a material world. Thousands of cut-out ads are presented in increasingly fragmented, rapid succession. The film's disorienting and hectic pace seeks to interrogate the extent to which seductive advertising is a shockingly strong force in shaping our desires, needs, and lives in contemporary capitalism.

A reconstructed view of the surroundings I had as a child. I place the camera in the space at different levels corresponding to different stages in my life as I grew up. Constant camera movements show objects from extreme close-up, a perspective alien to the eye opening up a microcosm which remains hidden to the normal observer.

Collection of supernatural images... I happened to see wandering spirits... Some people see them even if they don't want to... Some want to see them but can't. Spirits indiscriminately assail. Even now, grudges wander in various places. No one can escape the numerous experiences of the supernatural.

'Spectator Records – Up in Smoke' is a film for vinyl lovers and music nerds. It is a film about how a small house in a back yard in Hasseris outside Aalborg came to be the epicentre of Danish rock music. The film tells the story of how founder Jørgen Bornefeldt created a unique space where inspiration and music could flow freely. Spectator Records was the hotbed of Danish rock music and we have never looked back since. It was a honey pot of bubbling and sizzling creativity, which unfortunately went up in smoke. For many years, no one knew what happened – and conspiracy theories about why the studio burned, lived merrily among its aficionados – but now we know. The story of 'Spectator Records – Up in Smoke' is the original hippie history that has never been told. About an explosive release of wild energy that forever changed the music and the people who came near Jørgen and Spectator Records.
