He pretends to be a shaman in order to confirm his suspicions behind the back of her grieving maid and then disappear with the body. Unfortunately for the bounty hunter this does not agree with the maid, who has her own plans for him...

Metalanguage and irony about what makes a film, film.

A quiet, intelligent, seemingly pleasant family lived their lives neither good nor bad. After death, they were sent to Purgatory - an intermediate state of souls. Here they are doomed to endless tea-drinking for small talk and solving the economic affairs of the office of Hell. To pass the recertification and determine their souls in Heaven or Hell, the family will have to complete the task of the more than cunning Lucifer: when the affairs of unallocated souls "accidentally" get at their table, how will each of them manifest themselves? Condemn? Have mercy? Or maybe he will return the papers that do not belong to him?

In June 2008, Yang Jia carried a knife, a hammer, a gas mask, pepper spray, gloves and Molotov cocktails to the Zhabei Public Security Branch Bureau and killed six police officers, injuring another police officer and a guard. He was arrested on the scene, and was subsequently charged with intentional homicide. In the following six months, while Yang Jia was detained and trials were held, his mother mysteriously disappeared. "One Recluse" is a documentary that traces the reasons and motivations behind the tragedy and investigates a trial process filled with shady cover-ups and questionable decisions. The film provides a glimpse into the realities of a government-controlled judicial system and its impact on the citizens’ lives.

Inststamatic pictures − sewn in and reversed. These images were all very ordinary with typical scenes from a family album: vacations, trips abroad, family gatherings etc. The sewing threads in the pictures − coast sewn to ocean, clouds to sky or people sewn to each other − marks a way of codifying the emotional structures and relations in the images, thus controlling an interpretation of them and highlighting (while at the same time trying to bridge) the gap between image and reality.

Rashid Marshawi takes us on a special journey across the historical city of Jaffa, where his father was forced to leave in the 1948 exodus. With his own voice, Marshawi narrates his memories of the city, bringing to life the waves on Jaffa’s shore, the sounds of its streets, and the sweetness of its inhabitants and its spirit. Recovery is a splendid cinematic experience that attempts to cloud the border between time and space as Marshawi takes us on a tour of magnificent photos from 1930 to 1948, allowing his nostalgia to breathe a new life into the static bodies portrayed.
