Children often tear off the beautiful illustrations from the books in the children's library while others are not paying attention. The walls of his house are covered with various illustrations that he secretly tore. One day, when he posted a picture of a woodpecker that he had just stolen on the wall, he had a quarrel with the small animals on the wall. The small animals asked to go back to the library, but he refused to let them do so.

Despite their differences, an unlikely friendship forms between the two and they plan to burgle a house to raise money. However, everything changes when they realise the house they are trying to steal from is owned by a gangster.

In the small town of Ethham, strange goings on have been occurring and the only people who know are the young adolescents of the town. Will they either team up together to solve the mystery or will they not be bothered at all.

Pick the Winner was the title of a half-hour political television series about the 1952 and 1956 election contests for President of the United States between Dwight D. Eisenhower and Adlai Stevenson. Both versions of the show were moderated by Walter Cronkite.

The Pilot Show is a British TV comedy show written and created by Paul Garner. Commissioned by E4 and subsequently airing on Channel 4 in 2004, the show duped celebrities and members of the public into appearing on what they believed were pilots for real TV shows. Over 30,000 British men applied to be on a new reality show called 'Lapdance Island' only to discover that it was in fact a hoax for The Pilot Show. The show featured Paul Garner, Sharon Horgan, Marc Wootton, Robin Ince, Rob Rouse and Steve Oram. It was produced by Damon Beesley and made for E4 by Ealing Studios. The Pilot Show went on to be remade for American television. VH1 in New York commissioned a 16-part series that first aired in May 2005. The show, renamed BSTV, was exec produced by Garner alongside Rob Moore from Ealing Studios and Jim Biederman for VH1. Garner and Marc Wootton were the only British cast members to feature in the U.S. remake.

Spin the Picture was an early American game show which aired on the DuMont Television Network. The hosts telephoned home viewers to see if they could identify a famous person within a spinning photograph. The show was originally called Cut at the premiere on 9 June 1949, and was renamed Spin the Picture on 25 June. The show was hosted by Kathi Norris and Carl Caruso and was on Saturdays at 8 pm ET. The final show was broadcast 4 February 1950. Norris was also the host of the DuMont daytime television show TV Shopper. Norris and Caruso were married from 1979 to Norris' death in 2005.

The Naked Pilgrim is documentary series produced by British broadcaster Five and presented by art critic Brian Sewell. First broadcast in 2003, the series follows Sewell on the Catholic pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. The series, ostensibly an arts travelogue about the pilgrimage route, was notable for Sewell wrestling with his own loss of faith and for his emotional responses to the pilgrims he encountered. Each episode features a leg of the pilgrimage route with a diversion in the third episode to visit the shrine at Lourdes. The series was a success for Five and was watched by more than one million people - the channel's biggest audience for an arts programme. The series won the prestigious Sandford St. Martin Trust award for Best Religious Programme. It was released on DVD in 2004.
