Quintessential alternative rockers, Sonic Youth, celebrate free-form experimentalism while reinforcing their performance-art driven tradition in this Soundstage performance, recorded on May 7, 2003 at WTTW Grainger Studio in Chicago. The band, which settles just outside the realm of definition, delivers a part rock, part free-form noise, part avant-garde punk performance which features a new song "Sympathy for the Strawberry."

Filmed live in New York City as part of Webster Hall's Sonic Event series, this 2004 concert video captures the excitement and electrifying performances of hip-hop legends the Roots, who sing classics and some new tunes from their album "The Tipping Point." Up-and-coming artists the Jazzyfatnastees, Truck North, Jean Grae, Skillz, Young Gunz and special guest Mobb Deep join the Roots onstage for a singularly sensational show.

In the summer of 2006, a group of seven high school students from Reno, NV, set out to make a documentary on Sonic Youth. As part of a non-profit organization called 'Project Moonshine,' these teens were given cameras and a few days of training and set loose to record a day in the life of Sonic Youth. Shot on the 4th of July, this intimate documentary is a behind the scenes look at one of the most influential indie bands of all time and contains some of the most insightful and candid concert footage ever recorded. Shot in glorious black and white, highlights in the set include 'Tom Violence,' 'Shaking Hell,' 'Mote,' 'Incinerate' and 'Kool Thing.' Filled with behind-the-scenes interviews with Kim Gordon, Thurston Moore, Lee Ranaldo as well as their guitar techs and sound engineers, original performances and a little basketball, the result is a point of view that is authentically refreshing, with an honesty and innocence not often found in veteran documentary filmmakers.

Recorded over three days during the 2010 Summer Solstice at Penmaenau Farm, Builth, Wales. The headlining Hawklords (featuring Nik Turner & Ron Tree of Hawkwind) are here in all their glory as well as some tracks from support acts Gunslinger, Litmus, Pre-Med, Dr Has Been, Quintessence, Darxtar, Anubis and more. In a dark corner of space on the planet earth, a young male earth creature struggles creating a large tone making machine. With hopes of creating the greatest music in the history of the universe, Peter spends his nights hammering metal and welding wires. After numerous failures causing fatal loss, he consider whether to continue on or toss his tone maker off a bridge. Is the universe pervaded by dark energy? What lies at the end of a wormhole? Peter finds answers to questions he did not ask in his journey of creation.

Sonic travels around the entire globe at high speed while touring all the best landmarks and explains through doodle drawings.

This documentary is an exclusive collection of interviews and footage charting Sonic's life from inception through to becoming one of the most iconic characters in video game history.

All of the album's songs were made into music videos by various filmmakers, such as the Quay Brothers, Garine Torossian, Grant Gee, and Guy Maddin.

Michelle’s voyage is an effort to reconcile the father she knew, with the world-famous music icon.
