In February 2013 Steven Wilson released The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories), his third solo album. Steven assembled a virtuoso band to record the album and subsequently embarked on an extensive world tour: Guthrie Govan (guitar), Adam Holzman (keyboards), Theo Travis (flute / sax), Nick Beggs (bass / stick), and Marco Minnemann (drums). Features the new video for lead track 'Drive Home' along with the video for 'The Raven That Refused To Sing', both directed by Jess Cope. It also includes four tracks recorded live in Frankfurt during the recent tour. In addition, this release includes two previously unreleased tracks, 'The Birthday Party' and an orchestral version of 'The Raven that Refused to Sing'.
Sunshine is a 20 year old young woman who served a sentence for drug abuse. Having found to be pregnant on her first day in prison, where the child was born, Sunshine was left with a new reason to live. Although in the past the relationship with her family was not the best, during the time in prison her relatives made sure they would write every day, and visited without fail. On the day of her release, she was carrying over 500 letters and a chance to turn a new page in her life.

When I heard the radio broadcast about a missing 15-year-old boy, I realized that I was dressing exactly the same as that boy according to the announcement. It gave me a mixed feeling that on the one hand, I was wondering why this young boy had gone missing while on the other hand, I felt that somehow I became the one that people were looking for because of the clothes. The weird anxiety that the absence of me might cover the real absence of the boy fulfilled me the whole time till I got back home, and the video of this work was taken within that time. The sounds were recorded from the original broadcast.
