Burford met Breer in February 1992 and filmed his actions. Breer manipulates some of his mutoscopes: he leafs through some cards of his film in the making, Sparkill Ave! A dome-shaped sculpture slowly moves across the space.

Ryan and Jessica head to Mississippi with their dementia-addled, but good natured Uncle John to attend the funeral of their recently deceased grandmother. With Jessica in a seemingly failed marriage and Ryan carrying a secret he has kept from his family, the baggage they are packing is heavy. They end their exhausting journey south only to be greeted by their overbearing mother and her never-ending critique on their lives as she hides her own depression with a bottle of wine. However, Aunt Fran and Uncle John are ever present to add humor to the ailing situation. With laughter and tears, director William Tyler takes his audience deep into the recesses of a modern, Southern family's struggle to stay together during a time of separation and death.

Mr. Hedder is an old fashioned man who will not let his daughter Anna own an evening gown, but she is given one by a friend who is a model. Hedder believes that she stole it and confers with Mr. Wallace, the owner of the store. On Wallace's advice, Hedder hits Anna, causing her to leave home and move in with some gold diggers.

This documentary from 1945 explains The Veteran's Land Act, which provided for low-cost loans to veterans who wished to purchase properties and re-establish themselves in Canada after the war. The loans were for properties ranging from town lots to full-scale farms. The Act also provided aid in purchasing farm machinery, fishing boats, building materials and livestock. Produced by the NFB for the Canadian Department of Veterans Affairs.
