Electra, was a teacher a few years ago in the industrial village "X". A decayed village under the shadow of a huge factory, not on its heyday. Lia, until a few years ago a student of Electra, was and remains beautiful. She works in “Heaven”, a local cafe owned by the 50-year-old known as "Cannibal". Lia has no way out. ntertainment and spectacle is nothing more than souped-up cars drifting on the empty lot. Electra knows that Lia deserves another kind of glory, she knows that as her teacher she has to lead her there. Electra returns. And she will take Lia with her to commit the robbery they both need: Lia to escape, Electra to tie Lia with her.

Mark Thomas stages a farewell performance in order to retire his drag queen alter-ego Babs Johnson at Legends Night Club and Bar in Raleigh, North Carolina. His shows have been censored over the past five years in previous productions, and this occasion is no different. Director Nick Karner follows Thomas and his crew of friends, misfits, weirdos, and the Cavalcade of Perversion over a tumultuous three-day period. The performance is cancelled twice, the promotional flyers are rejected and torn down, and most of the props and costumes for the performance are created on the day of the show. While attempting to pull the show together, Thomas realizes that his freedom of speech and expression has been challenged. The films becomes an allegory about censorship, and he continues to argue with the owners of the night club all the way to the opening night, where the show is a triumphant success and Babs Johnson's swan song.

Houdini and his wife Bess are walking along the Seine in Paris, when he encounters a melee between a drunkard and the police. In the ensuing confusion, Houdini is arrested and taken to the police station where he is handcuffed, manacles, shackled, straitjacketed and otherwise tied up to a chair. He escapes from all these restraints. The film, originally shot in 1901, and re-shot in 1909, is intended as a way of recording the amazing escapes of Houdini the illusionist.
