When an eccentric millionaire dies, his two former lovers travel to Guatemala to claim their inheritance. But there are a couple catches. The two old flames have never met each other and, the Will stipulates that nobody receives any money until they can get the millionaire's favorite cow to mate. What ensues is a comedy of escalating hilarity as relatives, friends and strangers jockey to get themselves in line for a big payday. All the while the placid cow keeps her own council, waiting for the "right" bull to come along

In 2010, this film started out as an ordinary documentary about the maker's family and the city of Salamya where they come from. However, it immediately fixates on its first subject: Hassan, the maker's farmer cousin with a shed full of cows he is very fond of. When Ali Sheikh Khudr returned two years later, the war proved to have inflicted deep wounds.

This project was initiated in the winter of 2020 and lasted about two years. I was compelled to investigate the relationship between my body and animal bodies, especially those who are physically larger than myself, and who are not pets but rather those who live amongst their kind. Therefore my interactions with them were not based on a pre condition of habits such as petting or mutual care seeking. If there was touch or closeness, they were of a non scripted and unexpected nature. In the process of making this film I used a GoPro camera for its small size and because it doesn’t need to be held while shooting, so that the camera could be placed in various positions in relation to the animals bodies. This way I could capture the subjects from up close without causing them distress.
