After missing her last bus out of a remote neighborhood, Rachel runs into a silly mime that appears out of nowhere. Once she insults him, the mime reveals his murderous, cannibalistic tendencies. A fatal game of cat and mouse follows as Rachel is pursued by her silent but deadly stalker.

Night After Night with Allan Havey was an unorthodox late night talk show which aired on The Comedy Channel from 1989 to 1992. The show featured the stream of consciousness of host Allan Havey, and other departures from the standard late-night talk show format. Havey's sidekick was Nick Bakay, who moved on to play the sidekick on Dennis Miller's late night talk show. Another curious feature was the "Audience of One," which was literally a single person sitting off-camera, ostensibly serving the same kind of feedback purposes as a normal talk show's studio audience. However, in one episode, "Audience of One" members were brought back for one episode that featured a full studio audience. The show did feature the usual interviews with celebrities who were doing the talk show circuit, but they were done in a more low-key, one-on-one manner, which was uncommon at that time.

The Day After Trinity is a 1980 documentary film directed and produced by Jon H. Else in association with KTEH public television in San Jose, California. The film tells the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the theoretical physicist who led the effort to build the first atomic bomb, tested in July 1945 at Trinity site in New Mexico. Featuring candid interviews with several Manhattan Project scientists, as well as newly declassified archival footage, The Day After Trinity was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature of 1980, and received a Peabody Award in 1981. The film's title comes from an interview seen near the conclusion of the documentary. Robert Oppenheimer is asked for his thoughts on Sen. Robert Kennedy's efforts to urge President Lyndon Johnson to initiate talks to stop the spread of nuclear weapons. "It's 20 years too late," Oppenheimer replies. After a pause he states, "It should have been done the day after Trinity."

British rock band Ten Years After's 1971 album A Space in Time is reissued for a delayed 50th anniversary celebration. The band’s sixth, and best-selling album, features their most well-known track ‘I’d Love To Change The World’, which regularly features in movies and TV shows. The song saw the band taking a more melodic direction from previous releases and showcased the band at their peak. The brand new stereo mix is by original producer/engineer, Chris Kimsey, using transfers from the original two-inch multitrack tapes. Chris' work on the stereo mix was the basis for the new Atmos Mix.

Of course I had seen dozens of reproductions in books and postcards by then and the popular mythology of the enigmatic smile was already well engrained in my mind. My strongest impression, as I recall, was how small and unsurprising it was – a heavily protected cultural icon – no longer really a picture – and I was much more excited by the painting of the distant landscape than by the face. My own ‘version’ of ‘la Giaconda’ was never an homage, nor like Marcel Duchamp’s ‘L.H.O.O.Q’, an attack on its cultural power. In 2009, veteran documentarian and filmmaker Brigitte Berman released Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist and Rebel, a film about the life and legacy of Hugh Hefner. Expanding on Hefner's influence not only as a celebrity figure but as a catalyst for social awareness, discussion and change, Berman continues to break new ground in Playboy: After Dark, Speaking Out in America. In this doc, Berman details the run and lasting influence of Hefner's two short-lived television shows Playboy: After Dark (1969-1970) and Playboy's Penthouse (1959-1960). Part entertainment segments, part talkshows, the programs featured numerous celebrity guests and covered a diverse range of subjects during their respective runs, including race, integration, environmental changes and free speech. With the story told through interviews and a collection of archived footage, this documentary makes it clear how and why both programs deserve their spots in television history.
