Perennial Stream is a portrayal of growth and decay. It is done on a single sheet of paper. Graphite marks are drawn, erased, then re-drawn, leaving behind a map of remains. A single, drawn line acts as a seed, which then propagates into larger forms, gathering to create a cyclic flow of movement and stillness within an abstracted ecosystem.
At a young age, Paolo vowed to help his blind mother, Tess, raise their family. Paolo became unstoppable and steadily climbed up the corporate ladder, until his eyes started to blur. In 2013, he was diagnosed with optic atrophy. Depressed by the criticism, he chose to leave his work and return to Baguio with his family. How did Paolo rise above this situation?
In the artificial environment of the reed fields, wind and fire—elements of nature—follow the rules of the artificial. As a result, nature is made abstract, giving rise to a new form of beauty distinct from the natural state. For the twelfth film in the series The Stream, I did not limit the stream to liquids, but extended it to include the air. I shot wind, flames, smoke, and clouds as motifs representing the air.

Aboard a passenger train enroute from Los Angeles to Chicago, a Christian movie actress named Mary meets an elderly woman and openly shares the struggles of her career and young faith. As the two women converse, Lettie reflects on the experiences and heartbreak that inspired her to write her famous book. As a girl growing up in small-town Iowa, Lettie falls in love with Charles Cowman, a telegraph operator at the Western Union office. A job promotion prompts them to move to a mining town in Colorado after marriage. However, Lettie soon becomes deathly ill, leading Charles to make a vow of service to the Lord that will change both of their lives forever.

Filmmaker Rob Van Alkemade (Training for the Apocalypse, What Would Jesus Buy) pairs up with Devolver Digital to (rather hilariously) investigate the booming democratization of the gaming media via the suddenly hugely popular and important YouTube and Twitch streamers such as Pew Die Pie, Smosh, Angry Joe, and more. How have these personalities, who have gone from shows in their bedrooms to Beverly Hills studios and Disney representation, changed the way people learn about new games from big publishers and indie developers alike? And how are they tied to the wave of new global indie development talent changing the landscape of content creation for games? Will money and fame spoil the party?
BLOOD/STREAM is a genre anthology film in the vein of "Tales from the Crypt" and the "V/H/S" franchise. Through six shocking stories, this film combines elements of body horror and folk horror in the digital age.
In the man-made waterways of rice paddies, the water in nature must follow artificial rules. In that way, nature is made abstract, giving rise to a new form of beauty distinct from the natural state. The theme of this work is the liveliness of water as it follows the man-made course.

With the launch of streaming services from Disney and Apple, the rollout of 5G and the growth in cryptocurrencies, experts are warning about the impact this huge rise in data use could have on the environment. There are now hundreds of thousands of data centres around the world, storing everything from viral videos to doctors’ notes and even bank account details. Many of them run on electricity generated by burning fossil fuels. Film and TV writer Beth Webb went in search of the internet and discovered that ‘the cloud’ is actually a vast network of energy-guzzling data centres and undersea cables.

Noisy, Violent, Streams of Silence presents a space within the psyche of the subject. The video displays a person’s attempt at removing one’s guard, and to think or express some resistance against the norm in order to protect one’s silence.
From 9- to 90-year-olds, the people of a County Antrim village help Bafta award-winning director Alison Millar explore the real meaning of creativity and culture.Returning to the landscape of her childhood, she uncovers the story of a visionary teacher, and celebrates the extraordinary artwork and writing created by poor country children almost a century ago.Against the backdrop of her home village of Cullybackey and the surrounding countryside, the story unfolds across the seasons as Alison follows the 'Carryin' Stream' of memory from the small country school that her father attended in the 1940s to the children of the present day. Along the way, she connects with a cultural legacy that she has never really known about and learns about her own Ulster-Scots heritage.
Clocking in at about 33 minutes, “Puppies Crash Christmas” features a range of puppers — a Pomeranian, a beagle, a West Highland terrier, a husky, and more — creating absolute doggo destruction around the Christmas tree and at the dining table. No gift is left unscathed or food left untasted. In fact, the so-called credits to the scenic pay cheeky tribute to all that was sacrificed to the puppies’ choppers. Embedded in the video are references to numerous TV shows such as “Game of Thrones,” “30 Rock,” “Twin Peaks,” “The Good Place,” “Parks and Rec” and more. While some Easter eggs are obvious, eagle-eyed viewers will be rewarded with some far more obscure references. It’s the Christmas gift that keeps on giving.
