In February 2013 Steven Wilson released The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories), his third solo album. Steven assembled a virtuoso band to record the album and subsequently embarked on an extensive world tour: Guthrie Govan (guitar), Adam Holzman (keyboards), Theo Travis (flute / sax), Nick Beggs (bass / stick), and Marco Minnemann (drums). Features the new video for lead track 'Drive Home' along with the video for 'The Raven That Refused To Sing', both directed by Jess Cope. It also includes four tracks recorded live in Frankfurt during the recent tour. In addition, this release includes two previously unreleased tracks, 'The Birthday Party' and an orchestral version of 'The Raven that Refused to Sing'.

The English progressive rocker continues on his 2015 "Hand Cannot Erase" Tour, following the release of his album of the same name in February that year. Largely known throughout rock and metal circles, Wilson has seen four Grammy Awards; two with Porcupine Tree, one with his collaborative band Storm Corrosion and the fourth as a soloist. As well as co-founding the band Porcupine Tree, acting as its lead guitarist, singer and songwriter, Wilson has also been a member of several other bands in addition to his successful solo act. Notably he has also collaborated with other rock artists including Opeth, King Crimson, Pendulum, Anathema and Jethro Tull.

In March of 2018, Steven Wilson played a sell-out three night residency at one of the world's most iconic venues: London's Royal Albert Hall. Coming at the tail end of a lengthy European tour, these concerts were the crowning achievement of an incredible seven-month period that began with the release of Wilson's fifth album, To The Bone. This release is put together from footage filmed on the final night of that run. Multiple cameras from every conceivable angle in the auditorium and on the stage, and the sound has been specially mixed by Steven in both 5.1 surround sound and stereo.

The Raven That Refused to Sing (and Other Stories) is the third solo album by Steven Wilson, released by Kscope on 25 February 2013. Each track on the album is based on a story of the supernatural. Alan Parsons, who had previously been involved in the creation of Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon, was responsible for engineering the album. Steven Wilson’s 2021 album The Future Bites is an exploration of how the human brain has evolved in the Internet era. Featuring gorgeous electronic sounds warped by human intervention (King Ghost), soaring acoustics that head into the stratosphere (12 Things I Forgot), relentless bass-driven Motorik grooves (Follower) and swampish, murky funk (Eminent Sleaze), it is SW’s most consistent work to date. The album was recorded in London and co-produced by David Kosten and Steven Wilson. Where 2017’s To The Bone confronted the emerging global issues of post truth and fake news, The Future Bites places the listener in a world of 21st century addictions. It’s a place where on-going, very public experiments constantly take place into the affects of nascent technology on our lives. From out of control retail therapy, manipulative social media and the loss of individuality, The Future Bites is less a bleak vision of an approaching dystopia, more a curious reading of the here and now.
