Set in an ice castle amid a sweeping frozen landscape, “Windersweet on the Snow” expresses spiritual longing and connection as two dancers embody the flowering of a new dawn. Through the oblivion and desolation of the snow field, their flowing flame lights the journey through seasonal change and mystical evolution.

The city center is the most represented and recorded place in Vienna. It forms the main image of the city and in a way creates the symbolism of the city. This piece is an attempt to deal with this image, through its surface and base. The aesthetics of history and memory of Austrian culture, set to be detailed through different kind of processes. A variety of strategies of displaying, communicate typical impressions of logics. Some of the photographs are digitally reconstructed using various software. These show pure digital impressions of recorded, software-optimized, representations of images. Only the symbolic aspect of the image is present, it is no longer in the context of the recorded 'reality'. no photo

Ash, unprepared in the wilderness, searches for the trophy elk he encountered as a child while hunting with his father. After finally killing the elk, he realizes that he is lost. As darkness falls, injury forces him to spend the night. Through his struggle, the past and present bleed together as he finds an unexpected connection with his father.

Independent documentary by Jiang Yue. Excerpted from production notes: "At the foot of Petal Place, there was once a large stretch of vacant ground called "Snow." The Buddhist pilgrims and beggars from all parts of Tibet gathered together in this place. Later, after the liberation, there were gradually some permanent dwellers here, so the "Snow" neighborhood Committee came into being. Today this neighborhood has several households, totally over one thousand "dwellers." But it is said that a large-scale demolishing of their houses in order to move to a new place has already begun; the former square will be restored here, The old people on "Snow" ground sigh with emotion about it."

A mother and her son are driving through heavy snowfall to bid a final farewell to their dead husband and father. A sudden and unexpected wrong turning takes them to a completely different place from the one they had expected. Some memories exist in a borderland.

In 2008 the city of Tel-Aviv sent four refrigerated trucks to Mount Hermon, to bring back with them 60 cubic meters of snow. Early in the morning, the trucks returned to Rabin Square and prepared a white, frosty surprise for the residents. In front of the square, now covered with snow, lives the Dahan family, which is facing eviction on that very same day. The film follows the four truck drivers making their journey from the north, and Hanna, the mother of the family, as she sees her life melting down before her.

Snow is a form of precipitation of crystalline form, referring to precipitation. For the heroine of the film, the word “snow” has a completely different meaning.
