A penniless bumpkin from the country who fights his way to quick riches in the city as an enforcer for a textile factory that's threatened by a competitor.

Cheng runs away from a marriage arranged by his parents to the temple. Then he starts to learn with the monks later on. However, his master Hung Duk only assigns hard work and does not teach them Kung Fu. Cheng and his mates are disappointed. The Rover, a Kung Fu fanatic, puts them to shame. He once a Shaolin student but expelled for misbehavior, goes back to Shaolin to humiliate the monks. Cheng and his mates are beaten by the Rover. Hung Duk eventually starts to teach them Kung Fu but the abbot punishes him for his flight with the Rover. Cheng is incensed. He goes out and pits himself desperately against the Rover…

Chuen Chan spares the life of the evil Miao Yi Tao (Chang Yi) in a duel, and Miao swears he'll regret it! Some years later, Chen Tai (Man Kong Lung) and Shuan Ching (Hsu Feng) leave home, with the task of escorting a special shipment to the capital. The cocky young Chen Tai disgraces a group of bandits, who happen to work for Miao. Miao investigates and suspects Miao's father has information about the whereabouts of Chuen Chan, also known as The Ghost Killer. Meanwhile, the fierce Manchu rebel-hunter is still lurking nearby, determined to find his prey whatever the cost!

The evil Ching government has taken over and is out to rid the land of the remaining Ming rebel patriots, including the still surviving Ming Prince. Unknowingly, the evil Ching overlord and his men capture the incognito Prince and throw him in jail. Hearing word of the Prince's capture, Shao Chang and Fang Ping mount a rescue effort to get the Prince before his identity is found out.

After the massacre of a small village a group of survivors lead by one of man called Ah Tien is trained by a mysterious monk in the deadly arts of the Shaolin Chastity Kung Fu. The group of survivors includes women and children but this is not an obstacle for them to get the training, after they learn the arcane secrets of Tong Zi Kung, the remaining villagers decide to avenge their loved ones and face the people responsible for their deaths, the Nine Devil Gang.

The majestic Ming dynasty is invaded by the Manchu troops, its upto the Shaolin monastery to fight them and save the fate of the nation.

After his father is murdered during a mission to recover stolen treasures from the Qing Dynasty, Hsiao Ching (Don Wong Tao) learns kung fu from a gifted Shaolin monk and sets off to seek revenge. Failing to find Feng Kei (Fei Lung), the evil white-haired warlord responsible for his father's death, Ching returns with a mysterious girl and questions about his past. He soon discovers that Feng Kei has arrived before him, intending to kill the monk.

Patriotic swordfighters, for and against the Ching Dynasty head towards the Martial Inn. Three old men with long silver hair are key characters, along with a number of young men and very pretty young women, all very capable swordfighters. Buried under the smouldering looks, suspicions and even lines spoken in dialogue poetic couplets, there is even a murder mystery.

The world famous Shaolin monks not only take on the ruthless Mantis Master (Eagle Han) from the north but also Japan's enforcers of hate and doom, the ninjas.

After there is a mishap at a mine that causing many to die or become injured, Master Chien decides to add insult to injury by not paying out any funds to the survivors of the victims to keep costs down. Many of the townspeople try to get Master Chien to change his mind, but Master Chien does not relent on his decision. The townspeople then ask the Iron Fist King, Chuang Yang, to pay Master Chien a visit and get him to change his mind. After the Iron Fist King shows up at Master Chien’s and defeats his top fighter, Chi Hung, Master Chien decides to comply with the townspeople’s wishes, but little does everybody know that Master Chien has a backup plan that will cause everybody to suffer the consequences and that includes his own self.
