Alex is trying to bring back his dead girlfriend, Linda, from the Other Side through an obscure castle, where people can visit their loved ones.  Suddenly, a plan occurs to him in the castle. He meets Lala, who got tragically stuck in transit for long years. She collects travelers’ soul for the castle to reduce her own years. Alex plans to trick Lala to the Other Side and leave her there in exchange for Linda.  The lovers unite on the Other Side, but death cannot be fooled, Alex’s misdeed does not remain unpunished.

Facing the Shadow is a one-minute short film that won an award in the National University of Rosario competition. The story follows a protagonist in her internal struggle against her demons personified by a shadow. Through intense confrontations, the protagonist confronts her past and finds redemption. The short film stands out for its visually captivating narrative and its message about the importance of accepting our weaknesses in order to find true liberation.
