These railway stations are architectural landmarks and a model of urban planning despite the radical changes they’ve undergone since their construction in the middle of the 19th century. How did the railway stations manage to absorb the boom of travelers in just a few decades? What colossal works were necessary to erect and then modify these now essential buildings? From the monumental glass walls of Gare du Nord to the iconic tower of Gare de Lyon, to the first-ever all-electric train station, each has its own story, technical characteristics, and well-defined urban image.

The Second City's Next Comedy Legend was a summer reality show that aired on Canada's CBC Television in 2007. Contestants improvise and create characters for their chance to win a spot on the Second City Canadian Touring Company. Judges are Joe Flaherty, Mick Napier, Dave Thomas and Elvira Kurt and the show is hosted by Trish Stratus. Current Second City Toronto performers Matt Baram, Paul Bates, Anand Rajaram and Naomi Snieckus act as mentors. It begins with the back story of the first National Wrestling Alliance Champion, Orville Brown, and his rise as a top promoter in Kansas City. Brown eventually sold his assets out, and the trio of "Texas" Bob Geigel, Harley Race and Pat O'Connor controlled the area until its fall in the late 1980s.
