Zen-Aku, the strange wolf creature, is still confused about his identity. Seeking revenge against the Rangers, he is puzzled by his apparently human tendencies when he rescues a wolf pup. Animus, the lord of the Wild Zords, appears to help Zen-Aku remember who he is, but Nayzor tricks him and he completely forgets who he is again. During a lunar eclipse, however, Zen-Aku suddenly transforms into his real human form -- that of Merrick, a powerful warrior. Merrick explains to the Rangers that 3,000 years ago, he put on the wolf mask to defeat Master Org, but was then cursed to become Zen-Aku. Princess Shayla orders the Predazord destroyed, believing this will remove the curse. The Rangers vanquish the Predazord, and Merrick becomes himself again! Trying to set things straight, Merrick sets off to face Master Org, but he meets up with Nayzor and the Quadra Org as well. Can he defeat them? If so, will this once very old friend become the Rangers' new friend and stay with them?

An new film is being shot downtown, and the Rangers are interested in checking it out, but eventually the filming turned-out to be a scam that a Mutant was filming the movie in which is called "The End of the Power Rangers" which eventually all six Rangers were put in different films, Lucas is in a Samurai movie, Katie is in a Musical, Jen is in a Kung-fu movie, Wes and Trip are in a Western, and Eric is in a Jungle movie. There's even the U.S. promo film for "Substitute," in which they mimed the amended lyrics (omitting the reference to a black father) in the American 45 version..

There is no dialogue or explanatory scenes at all, and the visuals unfold endlessly as information that appeals directly to the emotions rather than the feelings. The screen is divided into two halves and twice the usual amount of footage is shown, or the same image is shown one after another from different angles. As a result, the audience's brain comes to judge that the corpse is as beautiful as the body of a young woman who has just climbed out of a swimming pool. This film lets us experience a new relationship with images.
