During the turbulent Republic of China period, a dancer's murder ignites conflicts among Nancheng's dark forces. Gu Manqing, who grew up with her sister, witnesses her sister's death on her wedding day at the hands of Lu Yichuan. After a failed attempt to kill him, Gu Manqing escapes and begins a new life. She later marries into a wealthy family, using it as the first step in her quest for revenge against Lu Yichuan. However, as her plan unfolds, she uncovers a much larger conspiracy behind her sister's murder.

Comprised entirely of re-mastered and colorised archive footage from World War II, much of it never before seen, Sacrifice recounts the story of D-Day through the testimonies of those who lived it. These important historical days are seen through the eyes of French civilians and members of the military fighting on both sides. The testimonies of famous individuals like Dwight D. Eisenhower and Erwin Rommel are intertwined with those of anonymous soldiers and citizens, such as film director Samuel Fuller and Eisenhower's chauffeur, Kay Summersby. From the preparations for D-Day all the way through to the liberation of Paris, the accounts of these men and women provide a moving and invaluable retelling of this pivotal time in history.

In 1953, the Korean War is entering the final stage. The People's Volunteer Army of China has launched the last major battle in Kumsong. In order to arrive at the battleground on time and deliver enough force to the Kumsong front line, the soldiers have to defend themselves against the never ending bombing of enemy bombers and race with time to repair bridges, all under the circumstance of supply shortages and inferior equipment. A wealthy young man with a bright future, Andreas, finishes the Polytechnic at a time when the lovely Stella, the girl she is in love with, starts her studies at the University. The film is based on documentary facts and tells the story of an officer in the Japanese General Staff who received the task under the name of Captain Rybnikov to infiltrate the military circles of St.Petersburg. It was exposed after the famous Tsushima battle of 1904, when Japan destroyed the entire Russian Far Eastern fleet.

A slight crackling accompanied by a silent voice, take us through a series of cold and desolate landscapes, in which gather silhouettes carrying torches. They perform rituals that we fail to understand. When daylight comes, it only remains fragments. 'Until the Sacrifice of Giants' is a documentary fable about the disappearance of myths in contemporary society, through the observation of popular rites. The ritual is here treated as a fiction, a frame within which we are witnessing the end of an imaginary civilization. The viewer becomes the partner of the scientist who tries to understand through analysis of fragments and ruins.
