When the pandemic hit Norway, the government advised against going on mountain hikes, in order to minimize the risk of precious resources being spent on rescue operations. Relative Risk is a film that explores the concepts of health, responsibility and risk in encounters with people in nature who each play their role in the issue: a doctor on a skiing trip, a psychologist on a hike, a group of young people riding longboards, and a youth worker climbing a mountain wall.

In ancient times, many centuries before our era, the Greeks fought so often and shed blood that even the formidable Zeus could not stand it and suggested taking a break every four years. For this, sports competitions were invented, during which it was strictly forbidden to fight with each other. The competition was named the Olympic Games, and since then the tradition has been passed down from generation to generation.

The film tells the story of a parrot who after being sold to traffickers of animals as a child at the time of Marcos Pérez Jiménez, passes from hand to hand all his life and changing its name depending on your business, while being observed before his eyes the evolution of Venezuela for 50 years (1950 to 2000).

Miguel Hermoso's Like Lightning offers a fresh take on a familiar scenario, the teenaged boy searching for his unknown father. Pablo is a typical teen, with a fondness for football and sneaking beers with his buddies. He enjoys a comfortable upper-middle class life with his mother (Assumpta Serna), a successful lawyer and former feminist rabble-rouser, but has a gaping hole at the core of his identity: he has no idea who his father is. Preoccupied with the question to the point of obsession, he sets out in search of answers, and finds himself on a trail that leads to the Canary Islands.

A young man named Artyom lives a carefree, free life. He is a typical representative of modern youth, absorbed in the fast pace of life. Artyom's main priorities are women, alcohol and countless parties. For sure, the life of the main character would have continued to remain the same aimless, if not for his "funny relatives", who, with their antics and moralizing, constantly put the hero in comical situations. But they do not come to tea and do not come, for example, from Voronezh, as typical average relatives do.

Rajaditya belongs to that class of people who have a very deep-rooted ancestral legacy in North Kolkata. He resides at one part of an edifice which was probably built by his grandfather or greatgrandfather. His uncle resides at the other end of the building. He lost his parents long ago. His only sibling Jaga is mentally unsound. He has taken refuge at a street footpath. Hence the balcony, the courtyard yard, the staircase, the rooms and the roof constitute the empire of Rajaditya alone. He builds a Museum of Broken Relationships in his house. The museum becomes home to objects with varying histories ranging from the Partition, religion, citizenship and murder. His Uncle's vision of smashing the old property and selling it off to real-estate buyers confronts Rajaditya with choices between dreams and reality. There is a bridge between them. Would he reconcile with his uncle? Or submit to death

Dong-sik and Jeong-mi, a married couple who run a multi-level company, make a huge amount of money through fraud, where they trick their victims using romance scams. The couple recruited Mi-yeon and Won-woo for the job. Later, Dong-sik and Jeong-mi develop feelings for Mi-yeon and Won-woo as the couple gets tired of each other. They begin relationships with their recruits by buying their favor with money.

A short horror myself and two amazing course-mates of mine made as part of our Final Year Project in college. This film was made during the height of Irish lockdowns, where none of us were allowed to be in the same room as each other. This made for some interesting challenges, but overall we were very happy with the finished product.
