On a quiet cloudy afternoon, a young man and woman meet for a quiet rendezvous. However, for mysterious reasons, both turn out to be reluctant to see the deed through.

The Somerset Levels are one of the most beautiful parts of Britain, but in the winter of 2013 they faced a natural disaster. One village, Moorland, was entirely engulfed by the floods. Deluged by water, the villagers watched helplessly as their lives and homes were washed away. This programme follows their year-long struggle to get home again after the water drained and media attention shifted away. Although the residents put on a brave face, the realities of their fate pile up - the refusal of insurance companies to pay up, and the months of delay with the builders. All this adds fuel to a heartfelt frustration that the floods were man-made and the nagging fear of what would happen to them if and when the waters return.

The film is based on the evidence of thousands of people who claim that under deep hypnosis they saw and experienced the same basic things about the afterlife. Included are interviews with hypnotherapists from around the world trained in the method pioneered by Dr. Michael Newton, along with filmed past-life-regression sessions.

In this brief film, Cairo becomes the stage for Lord Kitchener's celebrations after the fall of Khartoum. Possibly filmed by John 'Mad Jack' Benett-Stanford on behalf of the Warwick Trading Company, it is a forerunner of the military films that would shortly flood the screens of Great Britain with the outbreak of the Boer War. Benett-Stanford, an Etonian turned career serviceman, was on active service in the Sudan and doubled as a war correspondent. According to legend, he was shot while attempting to get a picture of the enemy. It seems, though, that even beside the showmen and chancers of the early film industry, 'Mad Jack' had a gift for exaggeration.
